Over the past year, SEI Investments has developed a multi-channel natural language platform that is at the heart of its product roadmap. Join this informative session where SEI shares its vision of offering natural language interfaces to customers and the security challenges they have overcome along the way.

SEI will conduct a live demonstration of its platform which includes high-risk, high-value queries and transactions that require strong identity assurance. SEI and Privakey will demonstrate how they’ve created a mobile device authentication flow that complements the natural experience of voice interfaces while meeting their information security team’s requirements.

Jim Lewis (Director, Solutions Strategy & Development at SEI Investments) Oaks, PA

Jim is responsible for the strategic direction, design, and development of SEI’s technology platform used for providing back and middle office services to traditional and alternative investment manager clients. Jim has nearly 20 years of technology related experience, with 14 years in the financial services industry.

During his tenure at SEI, Jim has been an integral part of the team building the SEI platform, as well as guiding the strategic direction for future enhancements and buildouts. Serving as head of innovation for the Investment Manager Services division (IMS), Jim seeks to ensure that SEI and its clients are primed to benefit from the newest technological innovations while using best practices in the industry. Jim is tasked with researching and testing technology by developing proof of concepts, with a focus on increasing automation and process improvement. These technologies include blockchain, IoT, biometrics, Personal Voice Assistants, and NLP & NLG.

Jim has experience at SEI working in investor servicing, implementations, and portfolio and fund accounting. Before joining SEI, Jim was a systems analyst for a large casino/gaming company, supporting its M&A activities with platform integration, data normalization, process improvement, and data warehousing. He also spent time working in accounting at a national drugstore performing data analysis and forensic accounting.

Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Lycoming College, and a Masters of Business Administration from Villanova University.

Patrick Kelly (Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Privakey, Inc.) Philadelphia, PA

Pat has over 25 years of business development experience across a wide range of cleantech, cloud and enterprise technologies. He currently serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Privakey, where he is charged with leading the commercialization of the company’s authentication and authorization solutions.

Before joining Privakey, Pat led WorkZone’s sales and customer success teams for its saas project management software. He also launched and operated Encelium lighting controls in the United States until the company was successfully acquired in 2008. Earlier in his career, Pat held various engineering and product management roles in hardware and ecommerce organizations. Pat earned a Masters in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University in addition to his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
